MAGNETIC DOOR GASKETS
NSF Approved Parts and MaterialsFlexible PVC and TPE gaskets with magnetic strip inserts provide energy-efficient seals without the use of door latches. These gaskets are NSF approved. Standard colors include light gray, black and white. PVC temperature range is -20°F brittle point to +150°F melt point. TPE temperature range is -60°F brittle point to +275°F melt point.
SCREW-ON TYPE
Slip under metal strip that is screwed or clamped to the door.
Insert area normally opens to the inside of the gasket.

SNAP-ON TYPE
Snaps into .135" slot in door frame or door. Matching retainer strips are used in foamed doors.Snap-on type magnetic gaskets SN-540-1.05 and SN-531-1.0 are supplied without the magnet in 8-foot lengths. Magnet is supplied in 200-foot coils for user insertion.
SN-375-812 is supplied in 8-foot lengths with magnet inserted.
Four-sided heat-seal assemblies are also available.
GLUE-ON / SLIDE-IN TYPE
Held to door or door frame with adhesive or by channel around base. Pressure sensitive adhesive with peel-off strip can be supplied on custom orders. A plasticizer resistant plastic adhesive such as 3M #4475 is recommended for customer application.NOTE: The wide base section of Part #GL-326-703 is normally placed to outside of gasket in 4-sided assemblies.
COMPRESSION DOOR GASKETS These high performance flexible PVC gaskets often can be used in place of rubber gaskets at substantially lower cost. With proper door latches they will provide years of air-tight service.
READY TO USE GASKET ASSEMBLIES Tricomp will fabricate complete three-or four-sided magnetic or compression gasket assemblies to the exact dimensions of your door. Corners of assemblies are mitered and heat sealed with precision splicing fixtures for air-tight fit. Back-up magnets are available for non-magnetic door frames. Mounting hole slots can be punched in screw-on gaskets. Screw-on and glue-on gaskets are typically measured to the outside dimensions of the gasket. Snap-on gaskets are measured to the center line/arrowhead of the gasket.

We can extrude flexible, semi-rigid, rigid and dual durometer profiles in PVC, TPE, Neoprene and Silicone. Fax us a sketch for quick response.
